so i need to find a cheap 40D canon. looking under 700 cause i only have 760 in bank, need it not to soon but would like it well the season is still on, i prefer refurbished because they are basically new, refurbished by canon. also any hints on a cheaper wide angle, and fisheye?

What's your price range/preference for glass?  It's almost always worth your while to put in the money for something good the first time rather than buying it twice.  If you just need something to get by for the rest of the season and don't mind replacing it later you probably have some options.

Oh yeah, and CL can be a very good resource sometimes if you don't mind doing a little hunting.  There was a good condition 70-200 f/2.8 for sale here for $650 a while ago, which would have been awesome if I didn't already have a brand-new f/4 at the time.

That's the most inexpensive fisheye you are going to find for that camera.  And this analogy has been beat to death, but putting cheap glass on a 40D is like buying a Ferrari and driving it only in first.

Dont think youll find any 40d's for that price but if you do thats sick but for a good fish eye id look into a tokina 10-17mm or a sigma 15mm I recently sold my sigma 15mm but it was a great lens for the price I got it. I found it on ebay for 499 new and it was great and I have used a tokina 10-17 and its also a good fisheye not too sure on the prices of them though
