I'm assuming that since you said that you've tried everything everyone has said on this site, and this entire thread is just a repeat of everything that has been said before (at least everything that I read), you're probably still looking for a solution to your shin bang problem.
I used to get wicked shin bang, too. I tired everything I could thing that everyone suggested and would still get it. My suggestion would be to work out dude. At 5' 10" & 140 lbs. (i think i have those right) I can't imagine that you've got the most massive legs ever. Do every lower leg workout you can think of over the summer and do them several times a week. This should help you like no other. I'm not too much bigger than you are and had quite possible the skinniest chicken legs imaginable. This helped me like no other. Obviously this is a long term solution, so until all of the snow melts, eat vicodin like its candy. At least you'll still be able to ski for the rest of the year.
