I'm pretty sure the only person who transferred in snowboard slope was Shaun White, and that would be why he won... this is looking like a good comp. I just hope no one gets hurt. Colby cut it pretty close there.

Is it possible to double that last jump after coming out of the death gap?

Did anyone else catch Ernst claiming that Colby West has no formal ski training and just blew up about 5 years ago?  Claiming that he got 3rd in slope in 2003?  WTF.  Waterville Academy is one of the most formal training spots a skier can go through.  ESPN blows it huge yet again.

I completely disagree.  As soon as one person starts hitting the big sides of all the jumps, and transferring the gap, everyone should be stepping up and doing so as well.  Skipping features and hitting small sides of the jump (regardless of the course or current conditions) should lose them points.

If Sammy, one of the smaller guys in the group can make it, then everyone should be going for it.

and for the record.  Monoskier X is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen on TV.  who the fuck thought this was a good idea?  Props to those guys that are doing it but wtf? 

hahaha and they all just crashed and nobody could recover quick enough to continue competing in the race.   What a silly event

his knees were bothering them a ton apparently. He took his last qualifying run and played it safe. wasn't anything special or good enough to qualify.

they said his knees were sore and in his last elimination run he came off the dfd box early and pretty much skipped the rest of the run. i guess his knees are in pain.

Dissapointed about Casabon's run, those rails slides he had at the begging were soo clean, god, if he hadn't missed that jump.

I think Schillers going to take it home, I at least want to see something good like a Double Flip, or 1260 but hey. Schiller, or Andreas have gotta do it.

i love expn - 5min slopestyle, 5mins monoskiing, 5min commercial.
out of 5 min slopestyle - 1min hyping up snowboard halfpipe, 3 min worthless comentating from whomever it is, and 1 min decent commentating by mike d. amazing..
