yeah a comp end when the jumps end. and if i remember correctly the money booter is the last jump. thus ending the run. also, i stated earlier that DC had his ski pop off a few years earlier.

why did dumont get such a garbage score? am i missing something? he landed that 10 with 1 ski. it was sketchy but it was sick. how can they take off so many points just for that?

In any competition you are supposed to land just like if you were ready to hit something else afterward. landing backseat is not stomping a trick.


Equipment issue dont take anything from the rider but it does affect the score.

  Simon riding away from that 10 on one ski was amazing.  No question, it was one of the most impressive things we saw in qualifiers.  But come on guys, there's no way you can score that as a stomped trick.  He flailed in the air after the ski popped, he landed way off balance, his leg dragged behind him, etc.

  It was a testament to his athleticism that he rode away, but looking at that trick from the objectivity of a judge, you have to see that as a bobbled trick.  It's a shame, because he showed on that run (and part of the first...k fed anyone?) that he had the potential to really throw down in finals.  Props to Simon, good to see him laying down some of the most tech shit up top out of a half dozen riders who are considered rail gurus.

NOT a fan of the caribou. It's like 2004-05 all over again with dumb tricks from Charles. However huge ups for skiing away after he cased that jump... it looks like there are some serious speed issues still on that course, Bobby barely cleared it on the run before. Transferring on the 6th feature is going to be sketchy, but I'd bet on Sammy doing it.
