hey i need help with 270 onto rail. when i go for it i kinda just get the spin but i dont get my head around to look so i always slide off. also when i am going to get spin i always land on tails and slide off. i have tried coming in closer and further from rail but doesnt really help. any ideas
this is basically a small rundown of what I do
ski up to the box/rail with descent speed
as you reach the top of the lip start to pop off using your knees
once your fully in the air start your rotation
spot your landing on the box
land that shit and ride away like a g
what helped me was practicing unnatural on the rail a lot. since you spin left i am guessing you have your right foot in front when you hit rails "naturally." thus, when you 270 on, your left foot is in front. practicing unnatural just gets you ready for when you spin on. all ya have left to do is approach dead on, pop from the knees/hips, rotate and spot the end of the rail and ride unnatural. hope that makes sense/helps
yeah you wanna wait until youre in the air to start your rotation and if you notice you move one direction in the air then start farther towards one side of the lip
