You're joking. Please, send me a PM and tell me you're joking. Do you understand the concept of poor sportsmanship?
Overall thoughts on the competition:
The competition was laughable. Dumont, Jon, Jacob, and PK clearly know that. Although Dumont did not say the words, "COMPLETE AND UTTER BULLSHIT" he should have, as it would have been the proper response. However, Dumont did come up to Jon on national TV and say, "hey man, I don't make the rules" clearly implying that he too realizes the ridiculousness of the event.
Dumont's dub font was dope. Yes it was done 40 years ago. Yes he stomps it in every video segment and big air/slope competition. Yes kids in Mammoth stomp dub fronts just as steezy as Dumont. However, he knew the competition was garbage from the beginning, he knew how to please the crowd, and he knows how to impress sponsors, get his name out there and blah blah blah. To him, this is a business and if I knew a trick like that would get another gold medal around my neck, I would have stomped a crowd pleaser too. Nevertheless, he is a professional athlete and by performing the same two tricks every big air or slopestyle competition, he is about as impressive as Dan Quayle and George Bush holding a press conference on the topic of rhetoric.
PK's tricks were two of the best double corks ever performed. PK, Jacob, and Clarke completely own the doubles game and I cannot thank these athletes enough for pushing the sport and tweaking grabs in tricks that few people dare to try. Mad props. PK, if you're reading this, you know you should have won. Clarke, if you're reading this, you should have been in X-games, after all, along with having an absurd dub cork and ridiculous style, you look like Luke Skywalker and people loves star wars.
Furthermore, since when are switch dub 9s and 10s referred to as OLSSON FLIPS? Although I am not certain, I think Jacob, Jossi, Cobly, Kenworthy, Mike Riddle, Bobby Brown, Schiller, Wallisch, and PK have stomped switch double rodeo 9s and 10s with better grabs and more style. So, why can't the trick be called the Wallisch flip? or the Schiller flip? Can anyone tell me the original name of this trick? Did Jon even invent it or did some other rider at JOI or JOSS stomp it first? Way to be unique, Jon.
Spark notes:
1) to the post above, please learn the definition of sportsmanship
2) The judging was bullshit
3) Dumont’s dub front is sick
4) Dumont needs a new bag of tricks, and is losing respect
5) PK and dub corks with solid grabs are the future
6) Jon, please don't rename tricks two or three years after you, or anyone else lands them
