Ok, so today I went on my school ski trip to waterville. After a few runs warming up on exhibition park i start spinning. For a few runs I did some 5s over the last jump, not clearing it as far as i wanted to. So next run I get just a little more speed and pop super hard and, evidently, i set my rotation hard too. I was over the sweet spot in the landing maybe 10 ft above the ground, and at 540 degrees already. Basically I say ok ill go 7, big mistake. By the time I realized what was going on I was 630 and I caught my edge, flipping over and slamming my face. Im suuper out of it and grab my ski and get out of the way. I just sit there for a minute and then realize i cant see out of my right eye and theres blood gushing out my nose. I somehow found my way down to the lodge, and got some ice and called it a day. Later when I got home my dad (who has worked at various hospitals) said i had a broken nose and he thought i might have broke some bones behind my eyes (well and a concussion which i already knew). So now i can barely see and it might be permanent, im really scared as to what will happen from here.
spark notes i killed face and broke some bones and might have permanent vision damage
