The thing that bothers me about freestyle motorsports is that the modifications continue to get crazier. I know they seem like necessary mods to do the tricks, but I just hate the idea. I don't mind the mods on the handlebars or handles on the seats and that sort of thing, but all the extra weight LL had on his track seemed a bit much. Lots of people compare this to our sport but at that point its really not, it just becomes some stunt show. How long will it be until they have jumps with moving parts like the guy that attempts backflips in a truck.

I thought freestyle motos were about showing that your so comfortable with jumping that you can do heel clickers and heart attacks and what not. Kinda like freestyle skiing is about being so comfortable grinding a rail that you can do a switch up or so comfortable jumping that you can put your body in a strange non skiing posistion (aka a grab) and spin around a few times. The heavy mods make it seem like they are freestyle motos are going down the path of arieals. Just like arieals is disconnected from skiing because it has more in common with diving than skiing freestyle motos is going down the same path as freestyle motos are starting to have more in common with being a stunt man than jumping a dirt bike. Thats why I hate hearing that they are alike. Please comment on the matter.
