NO GROOMING!? what?

Ok so on the east cast there is a severe lack of snow so far and tonnes of delayed openings including my mountain. Every day they arn't open they are loosing money so when they do open they are talking about leaving the slopes mostly ungroomed. This could be a good or a bad thing. all the runs would be moguls or become littered with hits. As long as they keep the park and some of the lower slopes groomed every few days im all for it. I think it would be a nice change as long as it keeps snowing and keeping everything fresh. What do you guys think?

it will save alot of money. grooming costs a shit load of money each year

yes because the guys that drive the groomers don't get money, they are just given gas money. those bums. and the guys that fix the groomers too. and the electricity that keeps things going while the groomers are there, that's stolen so duh all they have to pay for is gas you loser.

I dont think it's as much the money, but the hastle it takes to groom slush.. I mean, it's slush, it's not like you really need to groom it. Our mountain usually doesnt groom on days with rain or really warm temps... It's probably a good thing if the conditions suck

it is the money. there isnt slush. theres just no snow, and what little snow we have is powder

you cant groom the snow that isnt there. if there isnt much snow, all grooming is going to do is take it away faster.

they would lost almost all of their clientele if they didnt groom their slopes.. that has to be one of the dumbest ideas ive heard. What mountain are you talking about anyways?

most likely the majority of the people that go to your mountain would ski groomed runs because i'm sure the average skiier there isn't very good so it doesn't sound like a very good idea to me. i'm not trying to hate on your mountain and say that the dudes who ski there are weak i'm just assuming.
