Skiing after meniscus surgery

I had meniscus surgery yesterday and they removed part of my medial meniscus. For anyone who has had this how did it affect your skiing once you we back?

It really depends on the severity of the tear and what they had to do to repair it.  Some people will be back on snow in 5 weeks and skiing normally in 2 months, and some won't.  My surgery last year didn't work and I maybe got up to 80% again, and now I am coming off another that is leaving me skiing moderately(at best) for the rest of my life.  Talk to your surgeon about what they think, because it will vary from case to case.

i got surgery in july and first started skiing by november and it ached a little and it still does now too if i ski really hard, but i also didnt really rehab it either.

i just fucked up mine to..got an mri and i get the results on monday to see if i need surgey or not...hope everything works out for you

i had meniscus surgery this july and it ached for about a week but after that it felt fine i wakeboarded 2 weeks after and felt a little sore but do-able. probably take 3-4 weeks and it should feel fine maybe less

look at jon for example, he is about to win big air after having his done last year.
you will be sweet to hit jumps again.
