So I work at a golf course for most of the year and I work at a shop in the winter. I'm a senior in high school, so that means I wont be around for next winter, but I'll be able to work full time at the golf course.
At work today (ski shop which is also a golf store) a fellow employee was telling me that I should claim unemployement and work at the golf course in the summer. He said a buddy of his did so, because you will still remain on payroll esentially but you will be unable to work. All I have to do is say that I will return for work next summer, and get a nice check while I'm at school next year by saying I cannot find work and that I cannot find a seasonal job (because I intend to go back to the golf course)
Has anyone done anything similiar?
