so i made the same thread in ski gabber but id figure id get some more help here
ive narrowed it down to a hv30 and a panasonic hdc-sd-100 ive herd
great things about the hv30 but the panasonic seems like it has more
manual focus options any help would rock in making my decision
and how are the manual controles on the hv30

If your mostly using it for skiing, id go with the HV30. I have one, your options are like auto, manual shutter speed, manual aperture, cinematic, or the presets.

im looking to just do a lot of filming out side probably maybe 50/50 for skiing and just scenery edits i don't really know how to explain it would that make a difference the ring on the Panasonic looks great though thats why im looking at that
