who ever they show most before the competition is the one who wins because the audience, who doesn't know shit about the sport, becomes familiar with those riders. For example: Before the big air Travis Rice's name was said like 30 times and he won.

You're right. Rice said the same thing in his ESPN interview. Keep in mind, he probably tones it down for an interview.

Yeah, I think if I would have pulled my pants down and done a backflip, it might have been the same result, but yeah--text voting. Awesome. I reverted, Torstein stomped. I mean, it's kind of a funny thing--text voting. But we were in the same boat last year and it went the other way. So all I can do is be f--king stoked.

Couldn't agree more. You could tell when the results came in for Travis and Torstein's runs that Travis knew he didn't deserve it. It seemed like he said "dude you should have won" or something to that extent to Torstein when he brought him in for the bro-hug.

Text voting = worst idea ever. A bunch of uninformed morons with Iphones voting for their favorite red, white and blue waving chad.
