Newschoolers loves (your fav athlete) CONTEST at X-games!

Thats right boys and girls... yet another contest here on Newschoolers.com. This time around we wanted to show some public love for the people that bust their ass every day to make this sport better. With X-games coming up, and all of our favorite athletes throwing everything they have down in aspen, I think its time to show a little love as a community.

So what we're going to do here is have a photo contest. And remember, this is about love here, so any hate will be immediately disqualified and bad karma both NS and real life will go your way.

The rules are simple. You need to in some way prove your fandom of an athlete by expressing "Newschoolers.com loves _________" - written words, signs, body paint, snow art, sculptures, noise makers... be creative!

-Photo must be taken at the X-games in Aspen, Colorado
-The words "Newschoolers.com loves (insert athlete name here)" must be present
-Try to get your membername on there too so we know who you are
-We will ask for copies of photo ID to ensure that the person in the photo is you
-You are allowed to team up with others, but will split prizing
-Don't piss off the ESPN people, they're working hard enough so stay out of their way
-If you can't get a photo, it is acceptable for a friend to take a screen photo of the Live TV broadcast with you on it. This may even score extra points.

The prize will be a brand new pair of Liberty Phil Larose pro model skis, Capix Helmet, Capix Gloves, a bunch of videos courtesy of VAS, NEW newschoolers softgoods, Gold coin Contributor status, and the largest sticker pack ever given away.

This is it... your moment to get out into the world and show how much we newschoolers.com types love and support the athletes that have made our sport into what it is today!

If i had 200,000 pennies i would so enter this contest. Its hard to believe that there will be that many NS'ers at the x-games though, although is it possible to photoshop ourselves there?

Wow, that is such a sick contest. Everybody that is in Aspen or that has the chance to go to Aspen for the X-games has no reason not to be all-in for this contest!

i was all ready with a bunch of signs for the big air, but unbenounced to me, they stop shuttles from downtown to the games at 7:30 when the big air starts at 8:30, super fuckin duper. either way, i feel like this contest was kinda a bust, and you should just let everyone be a winner, and keep the skis for a better contest based in or around DENVER, CO, like a rail jam at ruby hill
