WTF is wrong with u guys, didnt u just see how clean simons run was?? That sw 10 at the end was prolly the highest sw 10 ever done in a pipe, cleanly grabbed, every hit with grab and perfect landing. Tanners dub is sick, but did pete O won X last year or 2 years a go for a not grabbed double? nope.

If Simon just steps it up a little bit he´ll own xgames this year cuz his runs are the most fluent and all hits near perfect aaaand he has the altitude others like dorey would need.

Pete had a sketchy dub and a shit run. Tanner has a clean dub and an amazing run.

If their runs go as planned, Simon Tanner and Justin will take the podium spots. Winning spot is difficult to pick, but either way I think it will spark a huge NS debate on tech vs amplitude.

Not trying to own anybody here, I'm just pointing out that it's the whole run that counts, not just one hit. Tanner won't win because of his double, but he may very well win because of his double thrown into a crazy run.

with these runs, simon would definately win. I mean, look at his run and his amplitude.
his switch 10 was sooo clean and high, it would beat the shit out of tanners whiskey flip (no grab or sketchy grab) anytime.
dont get me wrong, last year tanner deserved to win, but with these runs simon d win

Wow, those were all sick runs. I think Tanner is going to pull off another victory though, if not first there is no doubt he will be on the podium. Does anyone know why he cut his dreads? He looks so different now.

Its kinda funny how people are claiming whos gonna win based on that. I think the only complete run their was Simon's. Tanner is definately not throwing two flat 5s in his run.

T-Hall Double needs to be higher but he's got it on lock. Simon's run looked good, cleaner than last year, though similar. And holy fuck, Dorey, so smooth through everything. Couldn't pick a podium this year.

yeah, tanners halfpipe run is too good. if he nails all his tricks he's taking gold. Olenick actually looked really good too. But everyone knows it's gonna come down to dumont and tanner.

not to create tanner hate, because his run was sick and i have mad respect, but did anyone else notice what i interpreted as some old school tanner at the end when he said something like "at least i can get them around (dubs), thats just my personal tip." Did i interpret this wrong or was he really being an asshole to someone?

I've never really been a fan of Dumont's, but I have to give him the nod after the practice runs.  Tanners disappointed me a little.  I thought his run from last year was better personally.
