I crashed my car and got it on video...

I put a corvette engine in my BMW a while ago. There's a really long thread (800 posts) on bimmerforums.com if you're interested. Anyway the internet has been begging for a driving video for awhile. I was filming for it and slid on some sand doing ~60. Damage is minimal...it was just pretty scary haha

I just wedged the camera into the passenger head rest

It happened cuz we've just had snow in seattle and there was still some sand on this road. My car is very drift happy (with 350 hp in a 2800 lb car) and the back end went out on the sand

it looks that way because I was constantly correcting for the back end sliding all over the place...I was basically in a 50 mph drift that whole video haha... listen/watch for the revs whenever I correct you can tell

Dance with the Devil was an interesting choice...

My friend Alex had something kinda similar happen, he was driving behind my friend Mike who had someone in the car filming him drive, and he slid out and flipped his car into a ditch trying to keep up and you can see it go down in the rearview mirror on the footage. Crazy shit.

haha e30's are about as far away as you can get from a strip car. they handle better than pretty much any car on the road, e30's are the best 3 series bmw has built.
though i dont know how well one would handle with a 350hp corvette engine.

It weighs only 50lbs more than stock. The LS1 is an aluminum v8, the old engine was an iron inline 6. The problem is all the power...
