Dude dies at Granite

So a 25 year old snowboarder was found dead at Granite. He had on a helmet and they said he died from impact of his chest with the hill just from falling over on a mogul..

Has anyone ever heard of anything like that before??

It was about two weeks ago I think.. Google Wausau Daily Herald and then search Granite Peak in their search bar and it will show up..  It didnt say anything about his spleen, but that the hit stopped his heart.. Pretty scary since we fall a lot on jumps and rails but I ve never heard anything like this happening..

i heard about this but i was wondering if it was true???... and yeah their moguls must've been ice but everytime i've been their they've been pretty nice...and i have no idea why snowboarders try moguls, it never works and they just look like idiots...

my mom heard the story the day after it happened. she said he was going super fast and then went into a mogul run with out knowing it and then just got pwnd.
