My ski came off just as i was getting on the cair lift. I jumped off real quick to get it and ended up holding up the line. P.S. the sign that says keep tips up is there for a reason.
I was teaching my GF to ski cause she never really has b4. we have this one section of the resort that is like a seperate begginers area which is full of gapers and asians. anyway i sent her up the jbar b4 me so if she fell off i could stop and help her. i must admit its fun being on the bunny hill and being the best there so i was playing around and like sliding up the jbar sideways, pretending i was on a box or rail when BAM i caught my front edge and went face first in the snow, but i got caught with the jbar in between my legs which dragged me up the slopes an extra 30 ft mayb. then the lift stopped me right infront of a bunch of gaper snowboarders and i felt like the biggest idiot have to ski bak down and line up again
This thread is the best way to spend some time laughing.
The other day I was skiing from my house to the chairlift, and you have to cross a wooden bridge that is ever so slightly uphill. So i started to skate a little, and caught my right ski in one of the rungs of the bridge. I went flying forward, my ski fell off and fell into the slushy mess below, and I had to scale the bridge to get my ski out of the water. I felt like such an ass
not quite sure how to answer that. thanks?
