What happens when you die?

The thread about everything is natural has really got my mind going right now. So i thought i would
add another very talkative and arguable subject to the list for those who like to argue and for those tired with the other subject.

For me personally, i do not now what awaits, and i dont want to know until i die,
but i do know that i do not fear death.

a  quote that really picturse what im trying to say is:

I think this sums it up the best. It's been established in here already that nobody alive knows anything about death, so it's pretty hard to believe anything that's been rationalized by our living minds.

this probably wont make any sense......

i dont want to think to hard on this but....

the bible says that god is the supreme being like you said, but it also says that any one who believes IN GOD will some day go to heaven and spend eternity with him after their time on earth is done....

so why would god say people who believe in him go to heaven, if thats not what he wanted.... why would GOD want some one who doesnt believe in the same thing as GOD up their chilling with him...you know what im saying??? (it makes perfect sense in my head, but it more than likely wont make any to NS)

and please dont go crazy over me using the term bible, or god, or what ever....

I didn't mean to say that people believe who believe in God are not worthy of going to heaven, if there is one, i was just questioning who is really closer to God.

i think that people with a relationship with god are closer because they can see and feel the things that god has done for us.
its not just the belief that god exists that's important, its the belief and the understanding of what he has done for us that's important, its the relationship with him where you have faith that he is looking out for you.

its like saying satanists believe in god therefore through the sole fact they believe in god grants them access into heaven.

hope that makes sense.

consciousness is a manufactured idea by humans. when u die your brain stops thinking therefore it does not matter what happens. you are dead, and you no longer can think so it then no longer matters what happens. you dont know you are dead so it really doesnt matter. dont waste your time on what happens after death becuase life is too good to waste. just worry about what is happening now and be as happy as you can possibly be.

when u die ur soul goes back to heaven but u dont know a thing, then when jesus comes all the dead in christ rise then we go to heaven and shred 4ft powder for eternity and never ski on ice again

i only read a few of the posts in here but i heard this quote once and it made me think... "If death meant just leaving the stage long enough to change costume and come back as a new character...Would you slow down? Or speed up?"

i just wanna say that i was in a really good mood until i read this thread, its extremely morbid and depressing and is not something i wanna be thinking about right before i try and go to sleep... so thanks guys... im goin back to "Ski Gabber"

I also think you cease to exist, i think its like a dreamless sleep, our mind shuts down so we wont ahve any dreams or anything, but you know how when you sleep time goes by mad fast and you wake up and dont remember any of the night, i think its like that minus the waking up part. Its incredibly hard to think of but thats all i can think of really
