06 Line Chronic Wides

I just picked up a new pair of these old, but sweet looking relics (grim reaper version). Anyone ride these puppies? If so, how were they? Also, how far off center should these suckers be mounted? Got some Salomon 12 STH bindings to go with them.

if i remember correctly they have similar dimensions to last years Blends, which were a great do it all ski... for the ice coast anyway. Chronics have always been a pretty durable ski so you should be able to shred the shit of em... good find though those are not that easy to find

^ not like last years blends, more like last years regular chrons (85-86mm underfoot).  chronic wides are a great ski, they tear up the whole mountain on any kind of snow.. bombproof, i'm still lovin my pair!

i'd recommend you mount them at recommend for an allmt/park use, or just a tad bit further up if you want a more park/allmt ski. where ever you mount them, i'm sure you'll love them! sick ski for sure.

I just rode a pair of these(172cm) this past weekend; mounted them somewhere between the manufacturer's mark and core center.  Probably 2 or 3 cm back from center.

Feels stiffer than this year's chronics, but it's definitely a fun ski to just go all over the place with.

I have last years belnds and I mounted them 3 cm back from center. works pretty well for me.

Haha and referring to them as "relics" is an endearing thing for me. These boards are pretty stiff though, right? If so, I probably won't be doing to many butters.

i ride on these skis and they are so sick. you can do anything with them. very good choice anyone know where i can get another pair?
