SHOULD I GO?

Alright so heres my dilema. So my friends want to go to Lutsen mtns. in upstate minnesota. I live in southern wisconsin and they want to go this weekend for 3 nights, and its an 8 hr drive. i dont really want to go because there is 4 boarders and only 2 skiiers, me being one of them and the other one just skis all mtn. I want to go because it seems like a nice hill and its got some "BC" runs. But the 8 hr drive just for that just doesnt seem worth it, and one of the kids i just hate. the hotel would be tight(packed) along with the long car ride.

However this weekend i could go as much as i want to my home hill about 30 min away, and ski with like 3-6 NSers, 2 of them i actually met and are legit kids and are really fun to ski park with, the others im sure are the same. And i could get to go with my brother which is fun too.

WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?!?

Spark notes: 8hr drive to a bigger hill with boarder friends and a redneck boarder? OR Go to my local hill and shred the park for 3 days straight with some good ol' NSers.

REALLY NEED YOUR HELP! +K to anyone who actually reads it through and gives me a reasonablel answer.

if you go first choice ill come shred lutsen with you haha i havent been there in a while, its a sick place to ride too, especially when it snows a lot up here. riding park with your buddies is always fun though, tough choice man... lutsen is really fun however.. i am not helping you out at all lol but hit me up if you go to lutsen, we'll show them boarders whats up

ive only skiied with the nsers like 2 times, and i wanna keep skiin with them and ive skiied with these other guys so much, and i could on another little trip with them to like a hill 1 hr away in like 3 weeks if i wanted to.

thanks yea, and they will prob just get all homo in the hotel anyway, and its only supposed to snow as we leave... like the day after we leave..

dude, go on a mini vacation with your friends to lutsen.... lutsen is fun, not steep or "BC" by any means, but a fun ski weekend non the less.

you can ski your home hill anytime (unless you cant, maybe i missed that?)

nah i can def. go to my hill like 2-3 times a week, sometimes. But idk really i mean the whole 8 hr drive. IDK man its killin me on the inside, thanks tho bro.

o yeah, and if you have the time, hit up spirit mtn in duluth, you will literally drive right by it.

bottom line, the drive will fly by, and lutsen is fun! either way though you will be skiing so its a win win no matter what!

I'd say its more about who you're with than where you are.  I'd much rather be skiing with a good group of friends at a shittier mountain than a better mountain with a bunch of idiots.

yeah exactly good point. like im good friends with about 1 person thats going to lutsen(far away place) and i could ski with like a good group of 4-6 here.

+k, there not all dbags. i would say about 1-2 out of the 6 i could stand for 8 hrs. and this way if i dont go they can fit the car normally, not someone stitting on the floor for 8 hrs.

Stay home. I didn't like Lutsen. It's not worth an eight hour drive with tools. You won't have fun.

I still think you should go but

excuse: if you have a seasons pass at your local then say that you cant / (or your parents don't want to) pay the extra money, even if you dont have a pass im sure its cheaper at home

I would much rather just hit up some park with NSers instead of go on an 8 hour trip with some snowboarders and 1 other skier. just my opinion though
