UVM SSC

If you're a member of the UVM SSC, we're setting up a little park this Friday on campus and doing a rail jam/sesh/giving away skis and maybe a snowboard/giving out the UVM SSC t shirts/other free shit/radness/partying.

It's gonna cost you some money to ride if you're not in the club because we have to treat our members right : )

So either come hang out and see what we're about or session our brand new rails for a few hours.

I'm pretty sure we're starting the t-shirts at 4pm and sessioning from 5-8pm.

Yeah they are.... we were going to have the event earlier but it was like -10 so delayed it awhile. You get your card and your shirt.

Also, I believe for non-members it's either $5 or $10 to ride... probably $10. We're trying to keep it a UVM SSC event, but welcome those coming to see what we're all about.

It will be located on Central campus behind Lafayette by that weird Angell building.

CHEA and the set up will be at least our two brand new down rails, 14' and 11' 5" wide. We are gonna get some other ish to. Should be sick!

UVM is lame and made us postpone it.... if youre in the club come to the CC theatre 5-8 to get your t-shirt

p.s. are there kids on ns who go to uvm who are in NR 103, 104 and 105? I saw one kid with a ec headwear hat today and another with an IF3 hat...

i went for geog 60 cause we need to write one paper on an outside lecture so i figured it'd be interesting. 

i agree but it's hard to be compared to someone like his father, kinda like the michael jordan of speaking.  i just think it's great that he continues to pass on the message and beliefs MLK had done in the past.   with all the obama hype now and in the future it'll be easy to forget about "the dream" that inspired so many, so it's nice that his son is able to pass on his history

And yea, I liked his points about how the only war we should be fighting is the war on poverty...some of the numbers he gave really put it into perspective

Instead of charging people to session, you should make some t-shirts or some swag to promote your stuff and sell them at the events.

Not charging will bring in 4 times as many people and you'd prolly make more slanging the swag.

You'd make much more, just a thought.

At the moment, our t-shirts are only for our members so we can't sell them. We will be selling our custom made eesa socks though!
