On the big one????????????????????????????/ Today?
I was there on Thurs and the first jump's landing was way better, but the second one was still monkey balls. The "knuckle" consisted of an area around 20ft long. I've been hoping they'd make it better for the comp.

I meant I was there on Wed, not Thurs. Maybe they adjusted it a bit Wed night.

But I'm heading up in about 15 minutes. I'm just dropping the kids off at the pool first. Today looks like it's gonna be a sick day. Time to get my learn on!

yea today looked sick. as in the appearance seemed to be good from a distance. I was driving on up, stoked to have my first park day of the season when that oh-so-familiar rumble began, meaning that I had blown out my back tire. So, being the badass I am, I read the owners manual, and replace it with a spare. Except it was a stupid doughnut spare so I was going to have to go find a tire in Fall City Anyways. So, in the 130 meters to the offramp, going about 30, the rumble begins again, so I think, man, this spare really sucks. And suck it did. Only lasted 130 meters until blowing out. Being 2 tires down and apparently none in the glovebox I have to use my trusty AAA card and get a tow. So he tows me to hell (read: issaquah, where the people are rich, but not bellevue rich where they pity and help the poor, just rich enough to scorn the middle class) to a tire shop that for some reason has no tires in my size. This forces me to wait until my sister shows up at 5:30 pm with my tires stored at my parents house, leaving me to wander the streets of issaquah for 6 hours in ski pants and a tall tee. I don't know if I've ever been glared at more. At least we got up by 7 though. fun 3 hours of hot laps at alpental. but still. cliff notes: I planned a really long day of skiing that ended up being 3 hours thanks to the rubber industry. /rant

hmmmmmm. if you can drive to north bend or take a bus here then i can give you a ride up, not sure if we can just drive to seattle,  my moms jeep has terrible gas mileage

I live in Issaquah and am certainly not rich.

And I am just curious, which tire shop did he tow you to? There are at least two on Gilman Blvd, Big O Tires and Firestone.

I was at Big-O tires, which was the closest AAA approved, and when they drop you off somewhere you kind of dont have the option to go anywhere else, and I was unaware that there might even be a somewhere else, oh well. And dont worry, I don't actually have anything against issaquah or its natives, I just give it shit because I was stranded there. that and I did hear a girl mumble "poor people" at me as I counted out my pennies at starbucks for a cup of coffee. This comment could have been warranted in any place though given my actions.

today was hecka much powy. the banzai face was fun and the jumps were fun to just play around in. snow wasnt to wet, kinda heavy but not to bad.
