okay so last season i snapped my skis and bought some thrusters for cheap and the guy at the ski shop said he could fit my bindings to the new ski for free so i agreed (better than paying for new bindings lol) anyway, i said to him to put them straight on the ski without the smarttrak thing salomon like to supply us with. anyway, picked skis up two hours later and what do you know, the bindings are mounted on the smartrak thing on the ski. (he was an italian with very little knowledge of the english language) so my question is can i remove the smartrak and bolt the bindings straight to the ski or am i stuck now? my local ski shop said i'm stuck with the smartrack which i'm a bit gutted about really. the ski is nowhere near flexible enough and can't get an awful lot of pop from it.
oh and sorry if i post this in wrong section, couldnt decide weather to put it in ski gabber or gear talk...
