Ok so im looking to buy either dynastar trouble or trouble makers. i talked to backcountry.com and they said that the trouble makers were better because they are more of a park ski and the troubles are more all mountain and the trouble makers are more buttery, but then why does mike riddle ride troubles? which ski is better? im so confused...

if the trouble makers are more buttery (softer) Riddle probably rides the Troubles since they are stiffer and he needs a stiffer ski in the pipe whereas the softer trouble makers are better for hitting rails just like Armada's T-Hall is soft therefore better in park and the Pipe Cleaner better in the pipe due to stiffness

for half pipe and jumps, you need an stiffer ski. stiffer is also better on groomers. but for rails, a softer ski is better and the trouble makers aren't too soft. they shred groomers and are stiff enough for pipe, thought not specialized for it.
i would go for the trouble makers. a solllid ski for cheap. should last a few seasons.
spend your money on boots.
