Just thought i would drop a line to fill everyone in on the happenings in the park lately.
Obviously due to the very cold temps. we have been blasting the parks to build things up and get a more "permanent" park layout and flow going. The bottom jump got about twice as wide tonight with all of the sweet new fresh snow. I didn't add lips to the bottom hit, but the day crew might i'm not sure. With the massive amounts of new snow in the park it is going to take some time to get things all pushed out where it needs to go. I had a rough time last night getting the new soft snow to do what i wanted, so it is a slow process. The top jump had an enormous amount of snow made on it so i think that should lend itself to a middle jump soon. I'm not sure how much will get done before this weekend due to the large crowds expected for MLK, but sooner than later there will be 3 jumps in the big park and i'm going to switch up the rail lines. Please bear with me as it is a slow process.
Also February 7th is the 2nd Photo Annual Big Air, so clear your calendar and prepare to dazzle. I know that Mad River is supposed to have a comp. the same day but given how sick the photo annual was last year i would say you should be at Perfect North!
