just sittin here, recuperating from surgery this morning, and feelin sorry for myself.

reading this just snapped me right back to reality. everybody needs to stop and say a quick prayer for our brother and fellow skier. paralysis is so fucking scary. get well soon and hang in there man.

i hit my head on the bottom of a pool once pretty hard. everyone told me how lucky i was that i didnt break my neck. i feel very lucky after reading this, wish it didnt have to be him it happened to. i got away with stiches and a concussion and big scar on my forehead, nothing compared to this.  big reality check

I don't know why, but that story hit home pretty hard. Life changing injuries like that scare me. Makes you think twice before you or a friend tries something like that. Good vibes for sure...
