Firewire Help!

I want to hook up a laptop and another computer together via firewire, using the same internet connection through a cable connection. How would I do this? Any help would be appreciated, thanks a lot.

ya connect the firewire into the dv socket and insert the port into the... haha no i just made that up, the only thing i understand about computers is the keyboard..

if they are mac you pretty much just have to plug them together and download software program. if they are pcs, connect them, then toss them out the window at the same time. that will be the easyest way

why not just buy a router/hug/switch and some patch cable and just build your self a damn network. If you do it on ebay you can do it damn cheap.
