i where mitts and almost always carry poles but his one time at band camp i wore gloves=0 and had no poles with them i did not get struck by lightning or any thing

gloves- better grabbing, can maneouvre electronics controls better.
Mitts are only better when it's around -30 celsius

gloves and poles.  ive never been a big fan of mitts even though i know they are warmer.  just pick up a pair of hestra gloves and you wont have to worry about cold hands.

I have a pair of Dakine chargers, which are fucking sick for everything.  They are a nice light/mid weight glove that's about a step above your standard pipe glove in terms of thickness.

 I will attempt to brave every cold day with them, but if its really cold, ill throw some Gordini mittens in my LDC legbag (can't tell they're there) and equip them if the conditions force me to.
