if you can, read it all. everyone needs to know
this is a note out there to anyone who was thinking about purchasing
any sort of skullcandy product. this pertains to their piss poor
customer service.
i ordered my skullcandy camo hydro pack in early august of 2008. at
arrival, there was a pulled seam on the face of the book bag, but no
big deal, i'll sew it up. when school started on august 26th, i started
using it, and i loved every bit about it. about 2 weeks into school,
the face of the bag ripped open. since skullcandy has a lifetime
warranty on everything the sell, i decide why not just send it back.
they get my back back in early september.
after about 2 weeks, i call and ask them when it will ship out. they
are very apologetic and say that it will ship out the first week of
november. well, midway through november, still no book bag so i call
back. once again, they say they are sorry, and they havent sent it back
because "the ship that was bringing them japan caught fire, and the
bags sunk into the ocean in the sea container, and they could only
recover few." they said they were waiting for the ones they recovered
to be cleared for distribution, and that as soon as they got cleared,
the first one was coming to me, and it would ship out the day after
thanksgiving. it was whatever, because by this time, ski season was
almost here and i just wanted my fuckin book bag.
november 29th i call skullcandy, to try to acquire i tracking number
for my book bag. oh wow, it hasnt shipped out yet. how fucking
surprising. they say that they've had some issues and bookbags have
been mixed up between their two ware houses. this whole time i've been
polite, but i just told him like dude, just please get me my bookbag as
soon as you can. thats all i want. he says that he is going to put in a
personal message and that it'll ship the first of december at the
latest.
december 10th i call to see where the fuck my shits at. they tell me
that they are sorry because they've been caught up in the holiday rush,
and that the earliest they could send it out would be december 29th
because they had to wait until they sent all the ones out for
christmas. i tell them that it was my birthday present on august 11th,
but apparently they could give less of two shits. so im like, well
atleast itll be here soon enough.
january 5th i call skullcandy AGAIN. the women apologized a lot and
said how sorry she was about all that had happened (by this time i've
talked to every fucking employe skullcandys ever had. rob, mike,
amanda, etc.). she said that she was going to put in a notice that it
had to ship out the 5th, and she would overnight it and she would
e-mail me a tracking number. i was like hell ya, can't wait.
on the following monday, the 12th of january, i called again because i
don't have a tracking number. they say that it will ship out for sure
today and they'll e-mail me a tracking number. it shipped out the 12th
of january andi got it today the 15th.
i open up my package today, and
1. its the same color but its the older fucking model. at first i dont give a fuck, i got my bookbag back.
2. open it up to find it doesn't have all the peices that i sent back and the cords are fucking everywhere.
3.in the front pouch there is fucking used chapstick nd a fucking miller lite jacket. used fucking chapstick people.
4. i plug in my ipod, and the fucking control panel on the outside that
controls your ipod is fucking broke. the bag DOESN'T EVEN FUCKING WORK.
the whole time on the phone, i never cussed, i never asked for free
shit, and i was always patient as hell. now im fucking pissed, and i
need a solution. burning down their factory is number 1 on my list as
of now. someone help me on what i should do. i dont want to have to
send it back again and go through all this shit, seeing as when you
call your on hold for about thirty minutes. this fucking blows
sparknotes: skullcandy sucks big fucking gorilla nuts. fuck them
