I ski a Mt washington and just found out yesterday that this season racers aren't allowed in our park if they have they're racing jacket on or racing skis on! It's awesome!

thats retarted. as long as they arent doing pizzas off jumps they should be allowed to be in the park. also, i use my brothers racing jacket. who cares? the reason i wear it is it's super comfortable.

banning from the park is just plain stupid who cares what equipment they are on, if they can hit the jump then they should be allowed in the park. Its like when skiers were not allowed in the terrain park because they were on skis not a snowboard. that mountain is really stupid for making such a rule.

ya even tho i dont like racers because of bad expirences with most of em at my mountain i dont think its cool to ban them, i think theres gotta be a way to regulate who gets in by ski ability, or just more mountains need seperate parks on different levels that way little kids can jackass around and still learn w/o interfeiring with otha people

first of all, that rule is bullshit.
second of all, let's stop with all these retarded generalizations about everyone. not all racers are spoiled spandex wearing brats who can't ski in the park, though some are. not all jibbers know what they're doing in the park and are unable to turn correctly. everyone's different.

Yeah that is one screwed up rule. to who ever said you got to start somewhere i agree. you all didnt come out of your mother just knowing how to freeski. And Freeskiers can carve just cause racers have training on it dont mean shit. And for as much as i know most racers dont go into the park wearing spandix only some of the girls and they say its an extra layer.

have you ever heard of people on twintips getting banned from a nastar race or on any other run? no. nobody shouuld be banned. who cares if some little kid doesnt make it up a jump, ski areas are public! whats with everyone knocking spandex too? and its not like racers parade around in it, they use it to go faster. it makes sense...

just a question, goin fast down groomers is fun as hell, and i can see why little kids race it just pounds the fundamentals of carving into your head, but the older ones like in there teens why would you do it unless your gonna make a name for yourself *not knocking them but legidamently *sp* asking* like couldnt you just get some carving skis and rip down the groomers without all the hastle

NO ONE IS BEING BANNED, man some of you guys are pretty damn stupid, you can wear or ski on anything you want in any park, what your hearing about ski racers not allowed in the park is false, alpine canada did say racers aren't allowed in the park during training time, training time only, it is just for insurance reasons so coaches can't get sued, if racers are done training at 12 we can go rip in the park as much as we like, and yes we can rip in the park too, its the same as freeriders some suck and some are good, same goes with racers in the park, Jon ollson still races so lets ban him from the park

Allright the racers coachs wanted the racer to be banned also because they were so worried about them gettin hurt and teh park didn't like cleaning up after their shit but if a racer was in there ripping it up not being a retard they probably wouldn't say a whole lot

how about its not the coaches decion its the top dogs in canada alpine who don't want the national team in the park so they think its easier if no one can, and shut the fuck up for saying racers just eat shit in the park, i know a ton of racers that can rip in the park as good or better than most people on this site

There are quite a few recers that know whats up. but we don't have a park so I don't know exactly what the problem with racers is -- I used to be one, they were just a bit too serious for me

ya but when you think about there is a ton of newschoolers out there that suck ass too and wreck jumps too, it goes with every sport, you have people than can rip and others who suck ass, i see more tourists go into the park with there familys wrecking jumps than i do racers

you're probably right. I don't have that problem because the only terrain park here is the one you build, so it is usually just me and my friends hitting it up

It's mainly my mt has a really big problem with this becuase the racing program is pushed so hard by the people who run it and so many of the kids think they're such hot shit so it's mainly just our mt

This is creating a problem I believe many industry don't want to see. Skiing is becoming segmentsed and categorized. Thats bullshit. Skiers are skiers. No one should be looked down upon because they are skiing a different style of skiing. I think thats real dumb

Anyone is allowed in our park. Except people with rentals, because normally the people with rentals dont know how to ski and they dont want those people screwing up their skis. That is a good idea in my mind... but the rest of it i think anyone should be let in.

on our mt the racer cunt wear their racing jackets when they're not training and most of the racers I know have lots of different kinds of skis so if they want to ski teh park and get better then do it on their own time not when they are racing
