Photography 6 months exposure time

Look at those fucking sweet photos ...

This guy uses a pinhole camera. He places them in some isolated rooms or weather-safe rooftops and collects them a few months later to process the photo.

thats actually really sweet i donno what you guys are talking about. I have made a pinhole camera and now i want to do this. You can make it even epic-er in the north land where i sit cause you can get the full circle of the stars. This is my next project!!

that's called a series, probably what he was going for.

there's not much that stays still for 6 months besides buildings and nature.

Seems a bit overkill on the exposure.  Heres a tight video with a whole bunch of light painting (Long exposure set on a camera) more around 20 secs seems to get the best shots.

Damn this Vid is the shit ... Impressive how they were able to do this "light-monster-thing" always looking more or less the same. Would have been cool to bring in shorter distances between the shots that the vid would be more fluent, but its sick anyway

If you like this style of photography, (Its called Camera obscura) check out Abelardo Morell. He is the father of this "pin hole" technique. His work is truly unreal.

A "Camera Obscura" was actually a dark room with a pinhole or lens in a small hole that projected an image upside down, onto a wall, that people used to outline landscapes for painting.

notice how in the picture the image is projected upside down? that series from Abelardo Morell is called "camera obscura" because that's the method he used to get the images on the walls of the rooms he photographed.

pinhole photography is just pinhole photography, but the small hole working as a lens was used in camera obscuras.
