Anyone ever get stuff stolen?

Last night at Big Boulder in PA I got my Line Chronic's with Look PX12 ti bindings stolen.  It's the worst feeling ever.  I got to the mountain, locked my skis outside of the lodge, and went to meet my friends inside.  Came out no more than ten minutes later and they were gone, both lock and skis gone.  I filed a report with the mountain and the local police, but I know the chances of me ever seeing them again is basically zero.  So now I just have boots and some shitty poles that I bent while I was pissed off looking for my missing skis.  Anyone else ever have their stuff stolen like this?

but srsly...i leave me shit on the ground outside at BB all the time while im eatin, poopin etc and my shits never been stolen...its probably the same dude who was poachin peoples shit at mt snow

yeah man ive had my pack stolen twice.  the first time it had my wallet and shoes and a ton of other shit in it.  luckily i didnt have any money/credit cards or anything in my wallet at the time. but still it just sucks knowing that your stuff is out there in someone elses hands.

that really sucks, dude ski equipment/ bike thieves are the worst scum ever. I hope you get your skis back somehow. I've left my skis out while I left the hill for a few hours once and they weren't touched.

Yeah...I know a lot of people just leave their stuff laying around, thats why I figured I'd be good locking them up.  I overheard someone from the mountain last night saying they had 5 snowboards and 2 pairs of skis stolen just last night.  Unfortunately mine were one of those pairs of skis.
