Recap of my life for the past 3.5 months- pain, agony, and no skiing (x6 agony).
I broke my right tibia and fibula (the two bones in the leg below the knee) last october while playing soccer. I was in a wheelchair for the first few weeks which was actually pretty fun, but then I was "upgraded," as doc put it, to crutches.. Crutches blow. and especially in ice and snow.. I fell multiple times while trying to get myself around. Then after about another month or so I got my cast off and got a brace but still couldn't put any pressure on it for a good 2 weeks. I just went to the doc last night, and he said that I'm 95% good to go. The legs still broken but it's healing well enough that i can do whatever i want again... THAT MEANS SKIING!! however I'll have a limp for roughly a year...
sparknotes: Broke my leg. Couldn't ski. 3-4 months later, doc says I CAN SKI now!
