Bent Chetler Mounting

Hey everyone,
My Bent Chetler arrived in the mail today and was wondering where to mount.
they have a "centre mount" line and a "classic mount" about 5.5 cm back. i was thinking about 3-5cm from centre cause i sometimes land switch etc. thoughts? does anyone know where chris himself mounts?

there's already a few threads on this.  chis mounts his 2cms back, i mounted mine 2.5 cms back.  if you do a lot of drops, mount them more forward  to eliminate wheelies, and if you just like to charge mount them more back.

sickest skis i've owned.   you'll dig them

I am gonna buy also the bent chetlers this week.. usually I dont land switch in powder but i will like to make some spins over drops.. If i mount them 5 cm back ? i wont be able to that kind of staff?

can someone tell me what is the "wheelies" ???

a wheelie is when you land a little bit back (and because your tails are so short) and you ride out on your tails sometime leading to you ending up on your back. with longer tails you gain that extra stability in the back but you lose some stability in the front. making it somewhat easier to go head over heels if you land to far forward. listen to the first guy. sounds like he had a good setup at 2.5cm back

But since it's a freeride ski and u go the most of the time forward it's gonna be better to mount them at -5..

I was told that the bents have only 1 line for mounting !!

?? were did u see 2 ? 

maybe they told me crap I dont know..

I belive the weelies hes refering to are due to short tail but more importanly the rcoker on those tails. mounting more forward will let you match transition better flexing the ski as its intended to .

Just to be clear: when you guys are talking 2 & 2.5 cms back, are you measuring starting from the 'centre mount' line or from true centre?

Im getting mine mounted soon so I need to know :)

I just got my 192 bent-chets today. There is a center line and a "team" line 5cm back and an additional 5, 1cm lines behind the team line. I'm thinking about -3cm or -5cm (team,) also debating on AT bindings for some lite BC/SC use.
