ive never taken a ski trip that involved flying, vermont and nh have just been so conveniant. but anyway me and 1-2 or my friends are thinking about going out to BIg Sky in march but i have no idea how to find good flights, hotel, etc. any advice of websites or places to go would be greatly appreciated.
flying into bozeman can be a bit spendy compared to other major locations because it is such a small airport, but its pretty sweet and there are only like 4 terminals. Its cheapest to stay down in bozeman, but its a 45min to 1hr drive up the canyon to big sky so I would recommend Staying at the Bucks T4 lodge(they have free shuttle and its just a few miles from the base) or just stay at the Huntly lodge(more pricy but right at the base) Also there is a free bus that runs from bozeman to big sky(or at least there was the last 2 seasons) so if you snag that, you wont have to rent a car... just get a taxi into town and catch it at the mall or at the student union building at MSU. If you got any questions PM me and Ill try and help u out...
yeah i live in bozeman. you can save alot by getting a cheap hotel in bozeman and ride the FREE bus up right to the base of the hill. the bus leaves the mall at 615. 715 815 1015. basically every hour and coming back to bozeman is the same story.
