It's -45 degrees wind chill right now and im going skiing tomorrow. How cold is too cold to go skiing for you guys??

but it really depense what teh snow is like

i'd say anymore than -15 with or without windchill is about as much as I can take. not so much because it's too cold to ski, but the chances of catching a cold and being sick when the weather does change for the better.

im pretty sure its in alaska which is a little slow with prices cuz of shipping and everything..especially if ur in a remote area. but ya really high prices!!

If ya bundle up you'll be ok, just make sure to take breaks to heat up in the lodge, i got frost bite at -15 plus who knows what windchill because i didn't want to stop skiing. I think the coldest iv done with windchill was around -40. It can be done but make sure if something feels numb its time to take a break and heat up for a lil bit.

coldest ive done was - 40. but im sure i could go to - holy sh*t cold with my gear, hella warm puffy jacket etc. but its never been colder than - 40 out here.

Everything is expensive in AK. Food, gas, even houses. They don't have the industry, so it all needs to be shipped from the lower 48. The cost of living is high, but wages are a lot higher too for the same jobs.
