Jobs as a Youngster

aight, so i'm 15 and don't wanna work at an actual place til i can drive there. This winter i've just been doing some driveway shoveling. (20$ a driveway, pretty legit) and in the summer lawn mowing. (also 20$ ea.) so anyways, what jobs did/do you do as a young'n?

i happen to have a hookup with a very sucessful NY lobbiest, and i worked at one of her offices answering phones and playing computer games for $10 an hour.

otherwise, day camps, babysitting (10 bucks an hour to hang out with some little athletic kids aint bad), lifeguards, or shoveling/moving/property upkeep

I am 16 now, but when I started my current job I was 15.

it is just at the local turkey farm that is 2 miles away.  In the summer before I had my license I just rode my bike to work.

Try local places where you know people, instead of big corporate companies.

If you have family around town. Work for them.  I worked for my grandpa in construction starting when I was twelve during the summers.  I made bank and moved up through the ranks.  I started out sweeping garages and ended up at the front desk doing file work and answering the phone.  Or your could just sell lots of pot.  That works too

i worked at a store where i knew the owner when i was 15, it was like a mile away on gravel roads and i rode my fourwheeler there haha

I umpired cricket and Australian Football. love both sports, you get to see other up and coming talented youngsters in your area,but you cop shit from parents. decent money.

so yea get involved with your local sport and earn easy cash

during the summer be a caddy at your local golf club. you can't beat that money at your age. i was making more at 15 than i am now at 18. Its hard work but shitt if you want some good loot its worth it imo.

If you can, i have a ski waxing buisness in winter I make a lot. Babysitting, odd jobs, secretarial jobs, typing things up for accountants lawyers any jobs that require basic computer skills which you obviously have. Local sport umpiring as suggestes is good and rewarding and even stacking shelves is okay.

im 15 and iref hockey ,preety legit     make 13 a game with the little kidsthen when l the kids switch to 11 then 19 a game for only lines   and 23 for officating

I did that when I was 13 (8th grade).

I was umping 3rd and 4th graders, I hated it, it was the first year the kids could pitch so they were all over the plate, so I either had to let everyone walk or call strikes when the ball is above the kids head.

One time I got in 2 innings in 2 hours.

All sorts of jobs but harder and harder to find, especially when your younger(not that im much older)

Most stores such as in malls are easier to find around the holliday season

Lawns are good and dishwashing ect.

Golfing is a big one, especially for me, become a bagboy, you work outdoors and its easy work plus you get paid hourly plus tips! find the golf course near you wear really rich people play! ahahaha Oh yea and you golf for free and get discounts in the pro shop!

soccer referee (or of any sport you enjoy playing)
low number of hours, the certification is cheap and pretty easy to get, and you get paid a lot more as you keep going. Something you can do for life as a side job, and it keeps you in the sport. mad fun.

i was a dish bitch for 2 years wheni started at 14.  now i am landscaping for a huge house on a lake getting 13 an hour.

right now i just valet park for parties.. talk about money. i get $120 for around 2.5 hrs of work. also work at a local sports park and get 10 an hour

i would just do odd jobs i got offered
one time i worked may 8 hours 2 of which were driving and got free lunch and dinner and was payed 100 dollars

I would just work at a construstion site as a mnual laborer.   Because all you do is work so you make alot of money.  I worked at a construction site this summer as a manual laborer for $12 an hour and worked 10 hour days.  the work sucks but you make alot of money

i started my own lawn business when i was 14 now 17 and i made 6000 last summer working by myself only 10 hours a week, hard work, super flexiable but for now during winter to pay for gas and food and skiing i work at the ski resort they hire if your 15 but im 17 so i work lifts which is dece
