Alright, so i arrived in Salt Lake last night for our trip to the midwest. We head out to this afternoon, and I was wondering what the best area for urban is up in the minnesota area.
i haven't really done any of them, but i've seen quite a few, cherry street rail is like down, flat c, down about 100 feet or something like that. dfd in back of highschool, another like dfdfd in back of highschool but kind of hidden in the woods. i heard there's a pretty sick dfd by some park or lake, but i haven't seen it, there's more i just can't think of them right now
minnesota has some dope spots. and with all the snow this winter you should be able to get things going. the best spots seem to be hidden in the suburbs lots of rolling hills. good luck.
make the drive to duluth and ski spirit....dcrew can show u a few rails there. as for the twin cities themselves, go to hyland and welch village and talk to the seffers..theyll give u the level 1 treatment
that would be a good idea if they wanted to get the same rails as level 1 but, i wouldn't go ahead and volunteer people dude, speaking for others without consent gets you into shit more often than not.
i didnt voulenteer them, i said talk to them, theres a difference. and of course they wouldnt wnat to hit the same rails, but they still know of a shit ton of others, them and steve are the most knowldegeable(sp) ppl on rails in the cites.
disclaimer: i forgot to mention, alot of those rails in mankato are capped now, like the ones by the highschool (the red ones). Most of the rails are in high traffic areas and kinda near a cop shop as well.
yeah that dfd in the park i've never seen or even know what park. some kinda-unreliable snowboarder told me about it. let us know if you're succussful with cherry street rail, it'd be sick to see someone grease the whole thing
seriously everyones so negative bout the mn scene but its never gonna get bigger w/o exposure ya know? like seriously sure the setup isnt up to summit county standards but we slay it, and ppl care more bout whos riding rather than what their riding
I would not consider Minnesota a trip to the midwest considering they have skiing lol.... take a trip down to the southern 150 ish miles of wisco, make some sick ass edits at cascade tyrol wilmot alpine, and if u dare to hit up illinois, ragin buff and chestnut
