So I was in the fetal position, on a rather negative mushroom trip, when I came up with my newest idealogy.
'In order to truly enjoy something, you must starve yourself, of that, which you truly enjoy.'
Dr.Lane Meyers
Now, at first you might think that is a strange statement to make, let alone, a lifelong commitment that I've made to myself, however, with further insight, you will all find that it relates to you, and in positive ways.
For e.g.
You go on a hike. You do not bring enough trail mix. You get hungry. The last 5km's out of the woods, your mind is fixated on a turkey sandwich. You make it out of the woods and enter Tom's Turkey Restaurant and order up the largest turkey sandwich on the menu (there are 5 different types). It is the most delicious sandwich ever. You enjoy it more than you ever have, or thought possible.
E.G.#2
You are on a bad mushroom trip. You feel like you're dead. You start to feel better, and it makes you feel 100% better, although you don't really feel good. When you do feel good, it's like a goodness you've never felt before.
So, when you're feeling blue, look at things this way. If it gets any better, it's gonna be great. And when it gets great, it'll be like nothing you've ever felt. Unbelievable Goodness!
Sincerely,
Dr. Lane Meyers
