Mac users being douchebags to PC users

now i dont give a fuck about my cmputer. i just need internets for Lifespace, NS, Gmail and school and i need iTunes and editing software. thats it. so im not gonna go drop money on a Mac when i can just get a Sony Vaio with all the shit i need on it. its white too! so what the fuck, doesnt that make it cool?

im just sick and tired of getting shit at school and everywhere else from the people who have Macs because they ride some kind of fucking high horse about it. NO OFFENSE TO YOU IF YOU USE A MAC! but if youre going to be saying "you have Vista? pshhhh." when you dont even know what operatng software is then you need to shut the fuck up before i test my Vaios durability on your skull.

Bbout 50% of my hatred for macs comes from the people that use them. Yes, we can run your operating system too, yet we don't brag about it. Neither do we use it. Why? Because it SUCKS.

Really? Rhe reason why people bring this subject up is because of countless posts about "waaaah Mac users called my computer dumb" stop bringing this shit up. If you really want to see people argue about mac vs. pc searchbar the crap out of it. I am sure you can find 3.45 e 23 threads.

I don't give a fuck what computer you use. It doesn't affect me at all.

All I know is that I wanted a mac, but am happy I got a DELL. Had it for 4 years now, zero viruses, edited to my specifications and it runs perfect...and cost about $800 less.

I'm gonna have to disagree there with the reason why most people dont use it..
I'm gonna say its too much of a bitch to set up on a regular pc.. unless you have mostly the same hardware as a mac that runs it. Unlike windows, macs dont really have too many 3rd party drivers.

I'm also gonna say that it actually is a really solid operating system. I'm not one of those retarded mac fanboys, but i do like how os x runs and how stable it is. That's actually why I installed Tiger on my Dell desktop.. I cant run all of the programs that they have available, because its a hackintosh.. but then again I wont have to worry about it blowing the fuck up on its own (and before you say anything about viruses/adware shit, you should know that i know my shit and also that i'm not retarded.)

more people use PC over the past 15 years thus more people will hack the OS to try and fuck up a huge corporation microsoft.

noone used to use lynix or other crappy OS because of commands. GUI is windows and is easy. noone will want to hack a system noone uses right? you cant damage as much and get the rush of fucking people's computers up.

it really only comes down to that you momo.

mac has mass viruses, know your shit better please.

I hate apple just as much as i hate microsoft, theyre both greedy corporations, but i like windows much better that macos. I think macs are easier to use and come with alot of basic programs, so i would recomend it to the average mom/old person. Me on the other hand, i know how to use a computer and i have no need for the free software on macs cause i use programs that cost money. PCs are much more compadable, easier to customize run just as fast as macs.

microsoft gets hated on more because they have a larger number of users... obviously theyre going to get more complaints when they pretty much dominate the industry. also, since most of the world users windows, dumb people who dont know how to use a comp use a pc, so the computers get a bad rep, all because most of the world doesnt know how to use a pc... wait til apple starts dominating (if it happens), then we'll see people switching because more problems will be found..

Macs are fine for people who are video and photo editors, but i hate how normal people who own them think they are superior, and it especially gets to me when they think macs are faster then PCs. I can build a PC that will destroy a mac in benchmarks for about half the price. Enjoy paying extra for that neat little glowing apple on the back, and have fun playing any decent computer games.

I personally use a PC, but I do like macs. I mean, it's shiny. I have no problem with the product, but one of the few guys I know is such a douche about his Mac. god, it's just a computer. i don't have that much money, you rich douche.

i have a pc at home but i do newspaper design work on a mac.  I think that there are some organization features on a mac taht make it a little easier to work with a bunch of programs open at once, and i like the way creative suite runs on a mac more than a pc (i know they are almost identical, but some of the little things do appeal to me).  My pc works great though for everything else, and for some reason macs occasionaly have problems with the usa today website (in my experience)

BINGO!!! People think they are getting such good hardware when they buy Macs. In reality, they're just supporting Apple's ridiculous markups for hardware.the joke is,  i remember hearing that Apple runs their servers with Windows2k3, lol

In response to asian_allen, the one thing about vista is that its an OS built for high-end systems (thats why alot of people get such a huge pagefile when they boot up) thats really the only downfall.
other than that its a pretty good OS. sure its not perfect, and you get the odd crash or two, but no OS is perfect, not even OSX.


on another note,
it pisses me off when people who know nothing about computers or the computer industry talk shit "oh macs dont get viruses". bullshit, the only reason macs dont have viruses is because they dont dominate the market. why would hackers waste time on an OS that only like 15% of people (if that) use.
