So my friend took me skiing and we decided to make our first run a BC run(BTW I'm on last years AR6 centered mounted and 8 inches shorter then me) so we hike about half a mile up hill then side step on top of ridge with cliffs on both sides. we finally get to a narrow chute that opens up to a huge face ,that had a major avalanche a couple days before, the snow was wet and heavy and the avalanche lasted 3000 feet and we skied the big shit chunks from it. that were icy and no smaller then basketball., Eight times we had to take our skis off and clime on trees so we don't fall in to a freezing cold creek, by the end it took 4 hours to get to the bottom and hitch hike back to Stevens pass, he is a fucking ass wipe my legs are SO sore right now from the 3 feet of old pow we hiked in.also the ski patrol some how caught up with us and gave us a fat fine for hitch hiking.just had to share the horrid experience.
