That's a pretty well written essay, but I have to say that I disagree with the thesis. I used to think that Mumia was a martyr for the injustice and racial profiling of American police, but after reading some highly qualified sources, the evidence seems to directly point to Mumia. The gun Mumia had was the same caliber as the bullets that killed the cop, witnessses saw the act happen, and there was gunpowder residue on his hands, he confessed etc. I have heard a lot of conflicting stories about the case, but the more credible ones are against Mumia. I'll try to show you guys where I got my information, because otherwise it's just my word against Kamik's.
