50 Vehicle Crash Shuts Down Part Of 93 North In NH DERRY, N.H. (WBZ
Fifty vehicles, including three buses and two tractor trailers, were involved in the crash, which happened around 9 a.m. on Sunday.
According to witnesses on the scene, a bus carrying Boy Scouts from Massachusetts was at the front of the crash. The driver of their bus was trying to avoid another car that had gone out of control.
Another bus carrying the UMass women's hockey team was also involved in the accident.
Twelve people were transported to area hospitals. Four of those victims were taken to the Parkland Medical Center in Derry. All are said to have non-life threatening injuries.
It is unclear how long the highway will be closed for. In the meantime, traffic is being detoured to Route 28.
