Why put rubber in the toe?  Doesnt that just imply that they know the boot sucks, and cant hold you in.  They expect you to slam around inside the boot and get toe bang, so instead of fixing the shitty boot design, they just put a bandaide on it?

jk, my SPKs fit me perfectly, but I have freakishly wide feat so yeah...If you bought SPKs without trying them on and have a narrow foot you are an idiot.

If you ski enough it's bound to happen.  My friend skis well over 100 days a year and the last 4 pairs of boots he's had (all different brands) have been great for him, but he still loses toenails eventually.

i got my 09 khaos a bit smaller than i had before so theyre pretty tight but i kinda like boots tight. i was wondering do you get toe bang if boots are too big? too small? or doesnt effect

depends how tight you have your boots, if they are tight then you should be fine. but if they are small you might be hurtin.

it doesn't happen to everybody. I skied about the same amount and my feet were fine. I know toe-bang... one year in my old boots I lost 4 toenails,

I know this is terrible, but with bootfitting, I have a philosophy that worked really well for me and many others.
