Making a razor snow scooter

so i was looking for something deep in the back of my garage, and came across not only my friend's old razor scooter, but some mike nick snowblades from like 99, so naturally i want to make a snow scooter. i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to best attach the scooter to the snowblade/binding.. here's a picture of the parts (hopefully):

id weld the handlebars so they wouldnt move, take off the wheels, and then drill it in, unless you wanted trucks or something like that.

yeah im definitely gonna immobilize the handlebars. and id love to drill it in but i dont have the means and its snowing right now, i wanna shred with this thing tomorrow!

assuming you're going to really ride this thing, i wonder if leaving the handlebars to swivel would feel more natural

hmmm, maybe if you gut off like the tip and like 4 inches of the snowblade and put it where the front wheel is, then use the other half flipped around as the bottom, so youd basically be replacing the wheels with pieces of snowblade.  that way you could actually ride it like a scooter.  know what i mean?

dude that is a great idea but im not sure i have the ability/supplies to do that before tomorrow morning. maybe ill halfass it tonight then later do it well the way you said. thanks for the idea dude

you would need to make something similar to a truck. i really only recommend NOT trying to drill into the skiboard. yes, its a skiboard. use the 4 holes that are already there. drill through the standing platform of the scooter, with holes that match up to the skiboards 4 holes. but some padding, like some foam, between the skiboard and the scooter. i have no idea how to make the steering stationary. you can just google that.

alright well the god of marijuana just told me to use a shitload of zipties, so thats what im doing right now. it will probably not survive tomorrow but thats fine, ill try it out and then i can go get supplies to make it legitimate/durable

when i was little and HAD a scooter, you could buy these two little ski things that would screw on in place of your wheels. shit was awesome. look for those (i think i might still have mine in my garage somewhere haha)

If you're looking to ride it tomorrow, you could just use some duct tape around the area where the handle bars go into the base to keep it reasonably steady. But when trying to make it permanent, i'd either use some seriously hardcore industrial epoxy or weld it. To attach it to the board, I would think duct tape base would hold the board ok for a few rides, but again some industrial epoxy would hold it without requiring drilling holes and shit. Good luck.

make it so you can do tailwhips. they are sick and on snow look out. sorry, no help with the build here. i just think it would be sweet to do tailwhips with a snow scooter. how did it turn out?

Nah you guys are over thinking this. You have to consider if you cut it, it'll be flat at a point and will stick b/c of the friction.

If you want the turning ability buy a snowbike hahah. I would go to home depot and get some metal epoxy or similar super strong epoxy. The shit that comes in two tubes that you mix together. Take of the wheels and then epoxy the entire base of the scooter to the snowblade. It'll stick for sure.

Just a suggestion.

You could just attach the handle bar to the ski and use. might be ahrd to do in ski boots but shoes/winterboots should be fine.

Screw a thick wooden beam on top of the skiboard then screw your scooter on the beam, im prety sure this is gonna be the easiest/cleanest way since welding aluminium aint gonna work+ gluein metal to plastic isnt too strong...

there actually is this ridiculous super glue it literally glues anything, i mean ANYTHING. it costs 40$, but common, it glues plastic to popcans and is impossible to get it off. i've tried it.
