When will we start to see 14s in the pipe?

so im sitting here watching due tour pipe finals , and after seeing simmon's 12 and tanners 12. i thought when will we start to see 14s in the pipe? if you think about it, if they could just get a little bit more speed and a little bit more hight, it could be done.

it'll happen pretty soon, but it shouldn't. sure thats an extra 180 and gives you a switch landing, but you would have to spin ridiculously fast. it would look so bad, and you wouldn't be able to get a good grab. i dont care if its "progression", that isn't where our sport should be going

I agree... it will probably happen soon.

I'm more curious as to see though when it will stop. When will we just not be able to progress further? What, are we just going to keep going higher and faster and do like 50 spins?

It's cool and im all for progression but... I feel like we're missing something. It's sort of like with the roller coasters these days. They basically went as high as they can. If you go any higher, you'll have to go faster, and beyond the speeds they are going it's going to be almost dangerous and unhealthy. so now roller coasters are focusing more on style than height and speed.

when will skiing reach this point? or will it never end..

people shouldn't be worried about it, when 12s are grabbed clean and throughout the whole trick is when 14s should even be thought about
