teh guys at ski rack in burlington said there was no chance of warranty becasue tehy are a couple months older than a year and becasue it looks like i used them on rails which voids the warranty. I'll probably just stuff a bunch of epoxy in there and make em last for the rest of the season.
^ Truth!, Line and Armada have awesome warranties, i delammed armadas almost 3 years in a row and had each of them warrantied, you just have to really talk up the ski and act "professional" on the phone.
The reason they said they wont warranty it is because they dont want to through the trouble of sending them back for you. They would rather you spend more money with them and buy new skis and forget about it. I would either call Line directly, or go to another dealer saying that your dealer that you bought them from wont send them back for you.
Word.... always talk to the manufacturer directly if you can. Shops want you to buy new stuff. Manufacturers want you to remain loyal and recommend them to other people.
my shop just sent back 3 year old bindings that are way past warranty and im getting new ones free.
and it was all his idea i thought they were still good
Wow, you have some loyal dealers.. Around here they only think about money (cant say i blame them) but... They dont think about the consumer coming back to buy anything else.
if ski rack gave you trouble, just go to alpine shop. i have had better service there. better customer service too. i have bought skis from both, alpine hooked me up with a deal on 06 public enemies at the end of the 06 season, and i got invaders at ski rack just on their late season discount.
