Cell phone noob, help

Well finally im the last of my freinds to have a phone. ive been doing fine without one for a while but now i really really want one. i find it so annoying always having to ask your freinds or strangers to use there phones and stuff.

Im tryng to find a good cheap plan so i can maybe convince my rents to help pay.

Im really just looking for unlimited texts and maybe free night calling. most other things dont really matter to me.

So if anyone could recomened a good phone/ plan i would appreciate it.

and keep in mind i live in canada.

Prepaid cards are expensive if you use your phone more than 3 times per month. plans are def. the way to go.

well i was just looking at virgin mobile and its $99 for an LG rumor and $10 a month for unlimited texts which is basiically what i  want except i would also need soem minutes

my girlfriend had a koodoo plan. she got the second cheapest phone on the tab thing and she got unlimited texting and 100 weekday minutes but it was free calls after 7 anyways what Im getting at is that it was like under $30 a month, but half the time I would call her and after a few rings it wouldnt work and it took 5 minutes to get texts.

do anyone else in ur family have any type of plan? if so ask if u can add a line to their plan and get a decent/cheap phone, prepaid in the long run is just a hassel and quite expensive if you use ur phone alot

jew go on my plan. its with telus. and its unlimited text. 200min of calling and voicemail shit. its 39$ a month or something. its really good.

Rogers? I think thats a decent company. My grandfather has it for when we go fishing way up in northern Maine.
