Just read the skipass site and the S3 is 98mm not 88mm underfoot making it alot wider as a park ski. Turning radius is 18m and it'll be the same design as the S7 but with different widths of course. This might be a ski that I might like...due to it's bomber landing strip...too bad the graphs suck.
It's still the same 7 deadly sins artists but they've changed the designs and skis with which they've put their art on.
Not as much colour and liveliness as last year's art imo...S7 is my favorite of the bunch.
From what I've translated from the article: All the dimensions for this year's skis haven't changed but the materials have evolved...
S7-Hardwood...(that's the literal translation) wood core reinforced w/ carbon kevlar
S6/S5-Tricore-WRS mix of polyerathane and wood
S4-Dual Core and park model of Kevin Rolland
S3/S2-Monocore
S1-Simple core. Cap construction
Their freestyle boot will now have cable buckles and the spoiler is a lot softer than last years. The S3 will have the same shape as the S7 128/98/118 Kind of like armadas use of the JJ and The Alpha 1 this year. The S3 has camber underfoot and has early rise in tip and tail...and If I'm not mistaken taper in tip and tail like the S7. They describe it as having different contact points depending on the type of surface that you're on. 118/98/118 for piste like and then when you go into the off piste the contact points change to 128/98/118... and that's what they are marketing it as..
What tha hell is Rossi thinking? They went from year 2000 world super power to dropping a majority of there team and crazy lookin' shit like this. What is goin' on?
I saw like to graphics on there i like and those boots are a very interesting. I want to check out tha technology they have to offer before i comment on them.
